25/03/23 – Saturday Horse Racing Tips for Morphettville

We have expert betting tips for the card this Saturday at Morphettville that features nine quality betting races.

Punters get value odds across the card in South Australia, and we have our best horse racing tips available.

Morphettville horse racing tips

Race 1. (12:37) Skycity Handicap (1000m)

#2 – Jewel Bay @ $3.20

Jewel Bay comes off a win at Morphettville on debut and he looks good enough to rise through the grades.

The two-year-old son of Cable Bay paid $5 on that occasion, but we’re not surprised by the shortening odds here.

It’s a tricky field but he has upside.

Race 2. (13:12) The Mrs Marcia Meyer C1 (1400m)

#3 – Stadium of Light @ $3.60

Stadium of Light is fresh up and he usually runs well early in his campaign.

The four-year-old son of Sacred Falls won his only start at Morphettville, so the track suits, and he also likes the distance.

Getting 1.5kg off his back could be enough to see him win.

Race 3. (13:52) The Fotobase Group BM86 (1400m)

#7 – Sandy Prince @ $3.70

Sandy Prince is seeking a return to winning form and we’re happy to have him on our tickets.

The four-year-old son of Pride of Dubai ran second at his only attempt on the track, so that could be enough to see him win.

Dropping to 52kg is another positive and the odds are worth snapping up.

Race 4. (14:32) Roger Laing’s Birthday BM70 (1250m)

#1 – Stupendo @ $8

Stupendo turned his form around when winning at Murray Bridge, and he’s worth sticking with.

The three-year-old wasn’t handling the level of opposition in Melbourne, so facing softer fields in Adelaide should help.

Punters get value odds and they’re worth taking.

Race 5. (15:12) Furphy BM82 (1950m)

#5 – Samedi @ $4.20

Samedi has rattled off three consecutive wins and we like his chances of winning again on Saturday.

The four-year-old son of Rebel Raider kicked off his winning run at Werribee before adding wins at Sale and Morphettville.

He doesn’t know how to run a bad race and punters get nice odds.

Race 6. (15:52) Grand Syndicates BM68 (1550m)

#6 – Kaliuwaa Falls @ $7

The Mitchell Freedman-trained four-year-old wasn’t far away when fourth at Sandown last start, so we’re sticking with him.

He hit the line nicely to finish just a half-length behind Takara, so we expect that form to hold up well in Adelaide.

The odds are generous from bookmakers.

Race 7. (16:32) Charlie Hoile BM68 (1250m)

#1 – Lord Paramount @ $4.50

Lord Paramount owns two wins from his last three starts, including a win at Sandown last time out.

The four-year-old son of Frosted gets a valuable 3kg off his back and we’re not worried by the drifting odds.

It’s an open field and his chances of winning are strong.

Race 8. (17:12) Peter Elberg Funerals BM68 (1300m)

#9 – Alotafun @ $4.50

Alotafun scored by 4.5 lengths last time out and that’s an excellent form guide for this contest.

The five-year-old mare meets harder opposition, but with two wins from five starts, she looks like a nice type in the making.

1.5kg comes off her back and money is coming for her.

Race 9. (17:50) Happy B’Day Annie Romano BM62 (1000m)

#11 – Fun with Flags @ $2.80

Fun with Flags scored a comfortable win at Pakenham on debut, and she could remain unbeaten.

The three-year-old filly gets all favours off the inside draw, which should allow her to find the front once again.

We’re happy with the $2.90 available.
