Harbour Town Golf Links
Harbour Town Golf Links is your quintessential example of a positional golf course on the PGA TOUR. Pete Dye’s famous design sits just under 7,100 yards, and with very little rough on property, it relies on doglegs and tight tree lines to emphasize accuracy and positioning off the tee. With a mix of tricky bunkers and water hazards throughout, ball striking is at a premium at Harbour Town, with little advantage to be had from the longer hitters in the field.
In terms of Course History, Patrick Cantlay, JT Poston, Matt Kuchar, Shane Lowry, and Bryson DeChambeau highlight the list of players who have repeatedly played well here, suggesting a strong correlation with other short, positional golf courses on the PGA TOUR schedule.
There have been a handful of longshot winners here, but the mid range has proven to be the sweet spot at the RBC Heritage, with six of the last 10 winners coming from the 18-1 to 40-1 odds range. Whether long or short odds, there is a clear trend of accurate, shorter hitters who’ve gone on to win the RBC Heritage.

How To Bet RBC Heritage
When online sportsbooks set the RBC Heritage odds, bettors are going to notice several of the PGA Tour’s big names and several former major winners. If you’re looking to make an outright winner bet, consider how the player is performing this season and previous performances on the Harbour Town Golf Links. Are you going with the hot golfer with several top-10 finishes or the one who is overdue for a win? The latter scenario could mean longer odds and a bigger potential payout.
However, like the majority of PGA Tour events, spending hours analyzing which golfers have the best shot of winning the RBC Heritage, is optional. Expect to see odds for top-five finishes along with individual hole props and round finishing position. Sportsbooks will finalize the event betting menu as the event draws closer. Even though it will not be as detailed as what is offered for Masters betting, golf bettors will have no shortage of options.
