Golf’s biggest major couldn’t be arriving at a better time for fans across the globe. Following a dramatic finish to the World Match Play in Texas, the tournament favourites are in hot form.
As everyone expected, Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy were paired together on Sunday – but for a third place consolation match, as Sam Burns defeated Cameron Young 6&5 in the final.
The Masters is a 72-hole stroke-play event which takes place over four days. Jack Nicklaus (six) has won the most Green Jackets, followed by Tiger Woods (five) and Arnold Palmer (three).
The Masters 2023: UK Start Time
TV channel (UK): If you are subscribed to Sky Sports, you will be able to watch the first major of 2023 on TV through the Sky Sports Main Event or Sky Sports Golf channels. The Masters is also available to stream through the Sky Sports website or Sky Go app. Play is due to start at 2pm BST (8am local time) for the opening two rounds on Thursday and Friday.
